Super Mario Infinity est l'un des hacks les plus populaires de Super Mario World. Il contient 10 mondes, 92 niveaux et 114 fin. Les niveaux du jeu sont beaucoup plus longs que les niveaux de Super Mario World, ce qui en fait un des hacks des plus long jamais sorti. Les niveaux offrent beaucoup de thèmes différents. Le jeu se déroule sur l'archipel the Sea Spot. Cependant pas mal de monde n'ont pas lieu sur une île ; 7 mondes ont lieu dans le ciel, et 8 mondes se trouve dans le repaire de Bowser en profondeur sous la surface de la Terre. Super Mario Infinity utilise de nombreux styles graphiques personnalisés qui sont très originaux.
